Are you Cheap?

Is the word cheap a dirty word in your vocabulary? Well if it is I'll bet the credit card company's own you. Me, I'm cheap. I don't like paying full price for anything.

Last Friday night on the TV show 20/20 they showed America's Cheapest Family. They also showed a family that was into the credit card company's for $60,000. The sixty thou family has a nice house and beautiful cars but they are not really theirs. The cheap family has a nice house, paid for cars, 5 kids and peace of mind.

I recently heard about a club of women out in California that are not going to buy anything new for one year but food. The clubs rules state that they must buy used or barter for new items for one year. Now that's a club.

I love junk stores. I love Craigslist. To me finding something for almost nothing is a sport. lol I have a beautiful Citizen watch I paid $1.50 for and a Dooney & Bourke purse that I got for $3.00. That's just a few of the things.

Being "cool' is a state of mind. What's not cool is being maxed out in debt and looking down your nose at others for what they don't have.

Cool Steals and Deals is a blog that shows you where the deals are. Go check it out!

I think the word is thrifty. If I can save money I do it no question.
Cheap no, smart yes.

Have a nice day :)

Walker you proving my point. People don't like the word "Cheat". People send money that they don't have because they don't want to look cheap.

I'm cheap. I'm not afraid to admit it. A lot of times, when I get an urge to shop I browse online, add things to my wishlist or shopping cart, and then don't buy them.

Aaron what are you doing here? Well thank you for taking a break from shopping long enough to leave a message here. LOL

Here Again

I'm just messing around and wondering if this thing still works. It's been awhile since I've done this. Wish I had never stopped...
