The First Day of Love....

The days of Love, are ready for them?

 Do you know how to love? No, I'm not talking about sex, you goof balls!

In years past I've talked about thing that we love, like food and movies. This year I want you to show love to everyone. Again I'm not talking about sex. 

Someone I'd like to show my love for would be Mark Hall from the music group Casting Crowns. 

Mark sings a beautiful song titled "East to West". It is that song that brought me back to God and on the path of righteousness with Jesus.

Bad and Good.....

Happy New Year!

2008 was a bad year for some. I guess I feel bad because it was a good year for me. Oh trust me I was knocked around but I always got up with a  vengeance. 

On New Years Eve I told the devil that I was taking two souls from him. I don't think he liked that to well. He's been given me shit since. 

So how do you fight the devil? For me it was time to live as Jesus had planned for me instead of my plan. My plan wasn't getting me anywhere. My plan helped the devil. Number two for me was asking for help by praying to God. That was a really hard one for me. When I start feeling angry I pray now. I can not tell you how much this has help me make it through Christmas retail hell. Also asking others to prey for me. Maybe that comes across as a corny remark but when you've seen it's power you'll bow down to it. Yes, you will. 

Another thing I want to do is go to Africa and dig a well. LOL I'm serious!

Thin.....

No picture this time kids because in pictures is where I found my anger. What is thin? And what is "Too Thin". I just heard a Christmas song by Karen Carpenter. She died looking for "Thin". She's not alone. Lots of females and even males die every year looking for "Thin".

My anger was found looking at an Nordstroms ad in Vanity Fair magazine. The girl in the ad is too damn thin. She is a pretty girl but you do want to buy her food. "Have some French Fries sweetie!" Nazi's made Jews this "Thin" and the world was hell bent. So why as a society aren't we hell bent with the fashion industry.

Unhealthy either "Thin" or "Fat" is unhealthy! I must add, men that find these very "Thin" women attractive, worry me.

I'm mad at my husband. He told me to drive slower. Now that's some shit a dude from Texas telling the girl from Indiana to slow down her driving.

Did I tell yeah all I'm the "BOSS" now. Yes. I am the Head Bitch in Charge! One step closer to ruling the world. You know when I rule the world life is going to be better for everyone.

Mr. Walker, Sir! You are the Man. I asked Walker to write a Halloween story. He did, it rocked, I didn't get to read it till later. I feel pretty crappy about that.

Not again!!!

Olivia Newton-John sang a song about not playing a song again. And some songs I wish the DJ's would listen. Who cares if Sheryl Crow only wants to have fun. Oh don't get me started on Bob Seger or Phil Collins. When a radio station over plays a song they kill what ever beauty it ever had.

Commemorations.....

Last year at this time I was to busy to remember the day. This year it weights heavy on my brain. It wasn't a very good time in my life.

Today we hold up the thoughts of 2,749 people at the WTC, 184 people at the Pentagon & 40 people in Shanksville, PA. We send thoughts of love and support to all their families.

Everyday that we have is a gift. Right now I feel like I'm working my gift away but I try to enjoy when I have time off. Also I thank God for putting people around me that support me when I could use a hand.

There is a storm coming this way. Maybe it's stupid for a Northern girl to say this to a storm in the Gulf but, Jesus-Bring the Rain!

Back Slider

Do you know what a back slider is? Well in my family is means that you didn't go to church on Sunday. My mother always gives me crap about not going to church but for the last few weeks they have been Back Sliders. Sad isn't it. My Dad even tried to give me basketball as an excuse. So I've been dutiful to the Lord while my parent have been Back Sliders.

So every now and then you need to be a pain in your parents arse! LOL

Tall

Giant!

At many times in my life I've felt the definition of Giant. Tall! "She's Tall!

At the age of 44 you'd think this crap wouldn't bother me anymore but it does. I went to a house warming party on Sunday and as I walked in the house I got that "She's a Giant" vibe. Everyone at the party saw that I was tall and then looked at my feet. No I didn't have 4 inch stilettos on more like 1 inch slides. Sorry I'm bitching but it pisses me off.

Recessed!!!

So we've went from oppressed to depressed and now recessed!

Money savers tips are everywhere. Don't eat fast food everyday. Now there's a tip. Clean your whole house with vingear and baking soda. Now that tip really works but your house will smell. Trade in your gas guzzler for a more gas friendly model. If your trading in an SUV or a truck get ready to lose thousands of dollars. That last one is a sad fact.

Best tip I could give would be, get a Library card. Learn how to cook great food cheap, learn how to give your car a tune up and check out some great old movies. All of this can be yours for free.

Please no more recession talk! But Fall fashion will be easy. In a strong econmy it's always short skirts and during a recession you always go with the long skirt look! Oh, my long legs will look lovely.

I done X that File!

A new X-Files Movie? What? Does anyone remember the last X-Files movie?

Many years back X-Files was almost like a religion at my house. I even, sad to say, have X-files trading cards. Now might be a good time to sell those bad boys.

Back in the day, I hit the X-Files message board 4 times a day. Why? Now I don't remember why I stopped watching.

Worse part, "I want to see the new Movie!"

By the way, go to Tony's "Bonez" blog and leave him a message and maybe win some tea! Tony if your reading this go to Walkers Blog and see the big boobs! My mind runs at the thought of Tony and Walker sitting at a table having some tea and watching the ladies walking by. Oh what trouble!
