Year New, Make it Happy!

Tonight we say goodbye to a year that was ours. I'm sure it had ups and downs for everyone. A year never bores us. A year is like an REO Speedwagon song.

"I'll love you when you are ready to roll with the changes. Got to keep rolling!"

The lesson in that song is to relax. Getting set in your ways means your unwilling to learn.

In this new year relax, learn, and walk bare foot!

Peace be with you
Peace to a world that should listen to Jack Johnson or REO or any artist. Better that, then killing their brother and sister's in the street.

I'm on my way

Me and my ego (ICE) walk alone. Amen!

Be safe...

Betrayal

I end the year of 2007 with betrayal.

Not a good feeling.

You see the knives coming for you.

You wrap your arms over your face to protect yourself.

Your thoughts and your feelings are distorted as the flesh of your brain is torn apart.

All kind thoughts are gone.

Dreams and hopes are gone.

And memories torture you.

Pity turns your stomach green.

Tomorrow you go to work, you put a smile on your face, and nobody ever knows.

Talent

"Wheel in the Sky keeps on turning, don't know where I'll be tomorrow!" Yeah, like you all wanted to hear me sing.

Here we are on the last Friday of the year. Thought I'd throw a question at you. If you were to stand before God and he asked you "Have you used all the talents that I gave you?" What would be your answer?

My answer would be NO! I don't think I could even come up with a great story to explain myself. I am going to give myself credit and state that at 43 years of age I'm still a work in progress. I've figure out a few things but still have a long list to work on. The question still rocks my world and makes me think about goals I should set for myself. I hate the word "goals". Most people set unreachable goals or just over simple ones. Let's face it using all the talents you've been given is a pretty wide goal.

Word to the wise, always use your talents for good.

Last word today: They shouldn't have shot the woman!

Alive

Hi all. No I didn't forget about you. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Trinity sure did. Me, well remember I'm working retail, so don't ask. Oh but a secret I learned this year, Women hide how much they spend from their husbands by paying cash. LOL Ladies, Ladies, Ladies!

So some of you think the Holidays with out a foot of snow sounds wonderful. Trust me there is a balance to everything. You all are praying for no more snow while I'm praying not to get Cedar Fever. Balance!

Last words today: They shouldn't have killed the Tiger.

Snow

How do you explain to a little girl that it doesn't snow in Texas? There are a few blogger's out there bitching about to much snow this morning.

Snow is perfect.

I makes us slow down and take a breathe. It dazzles us with it's sparkling shimmer and makes us show respect because of it's dangerous resolve.

This time of year my heart aches to walk at night in the snow. To feel the peace and tranquility.

Lights

Whole lot of Christmas shoved in a tiny little space kind of sums up the season at times. Maybe that's why the story of the Christmas star inspires me. Following the guiding light of our lives and not letting the trivial crap bog us down is very hard at times.

So here's to finding that light and may it bring all of us Goodness and Joy!

Oh...By the way....my stats show people have been looking up my crazy story from last year. LOL

So here's a link to Stories from the Ice Castle

Here Again

I'm just messing around and wondering if this thing still works. It's been awhile since I've done this. Wish I had never stopped...
